End of the Road

Patience - is something that people lack… Rather I am talking about self and trying to imply it to rest of the populace.

The other day when I was making cookie; I didn’t have Baking Soda. No Baking Soda means No cookies. So after searching online I figured out; I can substitute it with thrice the amount of Baking powder.

Powder and Soda are two different things even though they have the same word preceding them. Soda has a few side effects which I found out later. Okay back to my point....

So here is the deal; the batter became too thin and I lost all my hope. I did use some of it to make at least few cookies and dumped rest of the batter to my greedy dustbin.

After a couple of minutes when I opened my oven door; the cookies were as rotunda as sun and shining like stars. What a waste of batter… Sigh…

Had I waited a couple of more minutes before throwing my precious batter I would have made at least 50 more cookies than the original 6.

Are we talking about patience here or giving up before we reach the end?

I think both are intertwined in a way that one is inept without other. They are the peas residing in same pod; unless one doesn’t have patience he/she will never see the finish line. People give up just before reaching the end. Either they are too tired of waiting or are scared as to what is in store?
